Strong Geodesic 4 Seasons Tent - I have used it on mountains
It's geodesic and can take a snow loading. It's stable in high winds, due to the dome shape and it doesn't flap, because the fly can be anchored to the ground at the mid-points between the poles. It has two doors, with the option of the inner doors being mesh or solid. There is also a vestibule with removable groundsheet for wet gear/storage or (careful) cooking in bad weather. The vents are supported by a firm flexible flap and also by guylines, so the tent will always be well vented (they will stay open) if covered by snow.
It's a rock-solid tent, perfect for winter camping on the mountain.
Excellent tent. I have used it specifically for wild camping in Scotland. I use it on my own which gives plenty of room to get all my Kit inside. Geodesic design gives a lot of strength in stormy weather. Very simple design means it can be pitched very fast and without effort which is a massive bonus at the end of a hard day when you're tired. I can pitch it, including fully pegged in about 8 minutes. Used winter conditions - After summiting Ben Starav in winter in the dark at the end of a long day I pitched it during the descent on the lower slopes - performed well
