HI-GEAR 28 Litre 12V 240V Cooler

We’ve been running this fridge for 5 days.
It works, in 12v it really get stuff cold.

But I have a huge issue with the storage of the 220v and 12v cables.
The cables are hard wired into the lid of the fridge. (Unlike my previous cool box where the plugged in)
If you want to put the cables away, tidily, you have to spend 5 minutes carefully stuffing them into the space under the lid. It’s a real faff. The design team clearly have never used this coolbox themselves.

Box arrived with a broken hinge and had to be returned,

Works well in keeping contents cool but literally used it for two days before the door hinges have snapped off the lid, seems the lid is too heavy for the plastic hinges will be returning

Received on time and was as described. More space than I expected and will be perfect when I use it for camping in June. I have switched it on and it works fine. Very good price too so no complaints.

The cable compartment is way to small and difficult to het the leads in and out.
Just have to leave them out.
Would be 5 stars otherwise

Cooled down quickly. Very satisfied with performance. Electric cable a bit fiddly to get out of housing

Fast delivery , bought this to take camping ! It’s big & holds a good amount ! Keeps it nice & cool ! The only downside is the leads ! Took me over 15 mins to get them out & a lot longer & headache to get them back in ! Also the fans very loud ! Could hear it all day & night whilst trying to sleep in my tent ! But it’s very handy when camping & keeps my milk etc nice & fresh !

Really good coolbox, the double power option is really useful when travelling and camping.
The Box was able to keep fridged items col on a ten hour journey (without using power).

The fan can be a little noisy but just turning down the fan to a lower setting makes it quiet. It gets cold enough that it can ice up inside the box.

The 28l box is definitely better than the smaller offering HiGear offers, and it's not much bigger.

This was ideal if doing any distance, come with the car charger and a mains plug. Worked well. Keeps food cool for about 2 hours when off, the lead stowage is a fiddle like everyone says but it's a perfect little cooler overall

Excellent piece of kit, good size and easy to use.
This coolbox holds a good amount of food/drink and can be connected to mains power or 12v car socket using an adapter (sold separately).
I would recommend this product highly.

Just the job...kept everything fresh, I found it easy to pack and load

Bought as a present, the person is very pleased with the cool box , using it for going camping, can keep frozen food items in it and with a couple of freezer ice packs am told that food keeps fine for 3/4 days, they put it on charge as /when required when camping, holds good amount of food and small bottles of water if needed ,

Seems to be a good performing cool box.(on performance I would score it 4.8) However the big issue is the inability to restore both leads back into the storage area (when eventually you release them). I can just about store the mains lead but not the 12v lead. whoever designed the storage and the person who signed it off needs sacking in my opinion

This has no dividers, no hole for the bigger bottle not like it shows
