Excellent
Third time lucky (ish)
Tried and returned womens 8 too big. Then ordered men’s 7 too small, now have men’s 8 . Even though it is slightly big I will keep. Shame they didn’t have half sizes. (7.5) in sale. Thankfully the return process was easy. Shame it cost me each time to return it. I do like the shoes and hope they will be waterproof.

Bought for my husband, seen and tried on a different colour in Go Outdoors, but they didn't have his size so ordered from Blacks. Came quickly. Same price as Go Outdoors without having to buy the discount card.
Great shoes
Bought this second pair after buying the red/ grey version. I struggle to find the “perfect” trail walking shoes but these must be close. So far so good.

Great pair of shoes
Bought more for an everyday pair of shoes, rather than specific walking shoes. Great price in Black Friday sale, swift delivery. Fits well, although a little tight on the top of the foot. Looks good. Haven’t had the opportunity to test the waterproof nature yet as reviews are always requested within a couple of days of you receiving the product!
Excellent shoes
I've loved this brand for a long time. Extremely comfortable and long lasting. As others have said though...make sure you order a size larger. I'm normally a size 11....size 12 in these fit perfectly

Having had two pairs of various makes of "gortex" shoes I will wait and see if these fair better than the previous ones which leaked after a few months!!!
They are comfortable and well made. we will see if they really are Gortex.

Great foot wear
I have been wearing this model of walking shoes for the last ten years . I can honestly say they are great , I would recommend them to anyone.
Look and feel substantial!
Merrell have an excellent reputation for quality and performance and these shoes feel and look the part, Very comfortable but..........I read a previous review that mentioned that best to buy one size larger than normal! I'm normally a size 8 for all shoes including golf and walking but these Merrell shoes are a size 9 and fit perfectly! Very pleased to be able to purchase through Blacks at an excellent price on offer!

A Honest review after 2 months
Bought my first pair on the 17/05/23 .
Pros
Great Grip and reasonably comfortable .
Cons .
After 2 months and some rainy weather damp started to come though , once they got wet it took 2 days to dry them out and noticed the fabric near the sole started to peel.
So imo the first pair wasn't what I call waterproof.
I took those shoes back and exchanged them for another.
