SO COMFORTABLE AND SNUG
Bought these mainly for the winter months more than summer. They way they fit for me is perfect with shed loads of comfort in the right areas .
I like all my training shoes to have the support around the ankle and especially the arch of my feet.
These are the first pair of Merrell. And I have to say that I'm very pleasantly surprised and definitely worth the money.

Fantastic looking trainers, hopefully these will last well, they are a Christmas present so as yet unused. But sizing wise they come up very small. My husband is always a size 9 and when they arrived he couldn't get his foot into the shoe. Blacks were brilliant and it was very easy to return the shoes, and he now has the size 10 which seem ideal, but that is a whole size bigger than normal. Blacks service was excellent, efficient and speedy and hopefully the trainers are going to be great.
Comfortable walking shoes
I've had a few pairs of Accentor 3 Sport GTX walking shoes now. I find them very comfortable. They are a reasonably broad fit which suits my feet. I've seen reviews that criticise how waterproof they are. I've never had a problem in this regard but I've never gone trampling through sopping wet long grass in them so maybe it depends on use! If I had a little gripe it would be the durability of the soles but I tend to walk a lot on hard surfaces and I do wear them pretty much daily. I think they are decent value for money when they are discounted but I wouldn't pay full RRP.

Love them but not waterproof
These are great shoes, but everytime I walk in wet grass my feet get a properly wet.
It’s a shame, but still worth 4stars
Waterproof, comfortable and long lasting
The title just about says it all, I've been buying Merrell's for nearly 5 years and average about 800 miles per shoe.
You can wear them from day one and they have continued to be waterproof for the entire period I've used them.

Merrell footwear sizing
Disappointed with the sizing of Merrell footwear, tried a pair of similar walking shoes in size 9 and they were great, bought these on line and they are a little tight
Different fittings
Bought a pair of size 11…. Wonderful fit and extremely comfortable…….bought a second pair a couple of months later… was in a rush so grabbed new size 11 of shelf…
Sadly these new ones were a completely different fit…. 1.4 cm longer and a lot narrower …didn’t fit at all .
Exactly the same labels inside . Except the first pair were made in Cambodia and were shorter and wider…. The second pair were made in China …long and narrow……
I would love to get my hands on another pair of the Cambodian made shoes as these are the most comfortable walking shoes I’ve ever had.
Definitely not waterproof
I bought a pair of these and after a few months of wear they were leaking water in… a replacement pair the same … have raised issue with merrell and their response was that I need to waterproof them after use … despite me telling these are new shoes I have just started to wear. As others have said it’s a comfortable shoe to wear but sadly not waterproof … a lot of money if you think you are getting something you are not .,
Used Daily
?Great pair of shoes which are used daily, feet are bone dry thanks to the Goretex liner. Very comfortable footbed, great fit, never had a blister, now on my third pair.
Useless
20 minutes on wet grass and my toes were wet! A cheap pair of trainers would have been just as good
Impressed. Best Merrells I’ve had
These are pricey shoes, but they fit really well. They hold the foot well in uneven surfaces. Other Merrells I’ve had have been too hot to wear for long periods. These are Gore Tex and very breathable. Impressed.
Second pair....
Bought these to replace a pair I've worn out over several years of faithful service in all conditions and places. Waterproof, great support, good looking, love them
Not waterproof and comfortable
I exchanged my first pair after 2 months as they the fabric was starting to peel and they wasn't waterproof .
After 4 days and wearing them for 1 and a half in the rain the insides are damp .
I won't be buying Merrell again.
