Always buy merrils and these where a great price , walk in all terrains in these never let me down
Excellent walking shoe
A very comfortable shoe with great arch support and a good strong sole.
Not waterproof
Found these shoes to be very uncomfortable initially, particularly round the ankles, so had to tie them quite loosely while I got used to them. Unfortunately, this meant that stones and grit was constantly being flicked up inside the shoes when worn with shorts or leggings. The big failing point came with the rain. After only 2 wears in rain that was far from heavy, the right shoe leaked around my little toes, and both let in water around the ankles. Feet drenched on both occasions, so they had to go back. Not fit for purpose.
True to size
I have just received these ; tried them and then put in my inserts in. Comfortable . Good shape throughout, lightweight and proper laces. I have bought them for an upcoming trip abroad where I want a decent pair of all round supportive and comfortable shoes. These hopefully will do just that. I bought my usual size 6 and they fit perfectly. Good price especially with the additional discount. Very satisfied
