Very good tent. Easy to assemble and looks good.
I bought one of these tents for a DofE expedition and it was hammered with rain and still stood strong and didn't leak.
It is an incredibly light tent which makes it ideal for backpacking/DofE/scouts.
It having an outer and inner really makes a difference versus other tents I have used which only are single skin and are not very comfortable.
Although, It does have a limited porch size which is a problem when you need it to sleep 2 people.
Overall it is a excellent tent which is ideal for light weight expeditions.
Had to replace an old tent. I'm not a regular camper but needed it because I was off to a music festival. As an infrequent camper I didn't want it to cost the earth but as the festival was in the Outer Hebrides it needed to be a decent standard. The tent was quick and easy to put up and coped admirably with heavy rain and high winds. Highly recommended.
Needed it for weekend camp easy to put up no issues
Bought this tent when it was a bit more money and even then I thought it was a great tent for the price. It’s a solid tent when erected correctly. It will take anything the uk can throw at it. Groundsheet is more old school which gives more confidence I feel. Lots of room for 1 person and recently camped with my partner and she had a blow up mattress in it so space for two not a problem either.
As the last review. I have mine for a few years, camping in this country and aboard.
Great area for one, with plenty of storage.
If for two, comfortable with a few items,
great for a quick camping.
Held up in blustery conditions!?
Size, weight, and sale price...
I've had this tent for about 7 years and must have spent close to 100 nights outside in that time. It's so fast to put up and pack away, dry, plenty of room from outer to inner, small enough to be light and big enough to be comfortable.
Only downside is the weight / packed size but tents that are better in this area tend to be more complex with a longer set up time, smaller when up and much more expensive.
I took this tent canoe guiding in Canadian wilderness for 4 months I will use no other tent now seeing as this was the easiest and most comfortable tent to sleep in and use. I am 6 foot 7 for reference I found there was plenty of room on my own.
would highly recommend as long as ur not going up Everest!!!!!
