Perfect jacket
Excellent jacket
Had my old Corniche for 20 years. Lasted really well. Only wear on cuffs and sheer amount of use prompted a new one. Old one went into the Humana recycle for a bit more use for someone.

Pleased with my purchase. Well made and slightly longer in length than similar jackets. Guess what ? It hasn't rained since I bought it
Nice jacket with excellent service
The jacket appears to be good quality but hasnt been fully tested as yet. The jacket was ordered online via Blacks but I thought it was maybe too large, ordered another smaller jacket with next day delivery, despite ordering after 1700 the jacket was delivered the next day which was impressive and much appreciated. The return was done via the local Millets store with the refund received 3 days later.
Overall a very good service
Really good product
I bought one of these jackets over 15 years ago, it has served me well. Usually products come and go, but this jacket is almost identical to the last one I had. It has all the same features - a hood that folds away, a large breast map pocket and 2 zipped pockets low down. I haven't been out in heavy rain yet, but I'm sure that the 2 layer Gortex will do the job, the last one did. The only criticism is that the low pockets are for some reason shallower than the original ones.

A good quality jacket. Pockets a bit too low down for comfort. But overall good.
Sub standard product received
On unpacking the jacket I found that the inner lining in the right hand sleeve had not been sewn in. I am surprised that a simple QC inspection would not have identified this. As I needed a jacket urgently I had to reorder another one, at a higher cost. The faulty one has been returned and I have been told it takes two weeks to process a refund. In the meantime, the second Berghaus jacket is perfect and I am sure will be extremely waterproof for hiking.

Outstanding jacket
Rebuying this jacket, which has served me really well for many years but it's now starting to look at little tired! A really faultless waterproof, with a zippable fleece liner.

Replacing an old friend
I bought the this jacket at a discounted price to replace an identical one that had provided comfort and protection for the past 20 years but, having become frayed around the cuffs and pockets, was beginning to show its age. I prefer the extra comfort of a jacket that extends to mid thigh and Berghaus doesn't disappoint. I trust that this jacket will be as durable and hard wearing and give as much outdoor pleasure as the one it has replaced

This is my 4th cornice, super light, totally waterproof and really warm when paired with the Berghaus interactive polar fleece!!

Great value
I bought this jacket as an upgrade to my previous Berghaus one which I had used for about 10 years. I took the fleece out of the old one and it slotted straight into the new one. The price was brilliant, being almost £100 cheaper than offered by some other companies and the whole thing is just perfect. The old one has been relegated to gardening wear so it could well have another ten years to do!

I purchased this to replace an identical Berghaus Cornice jacket purchased 25 years ago which was starting to fray at the edges. Well please with this product which has not changed over this time span a testimony to its quality.

I bought this to replace an old Berghaus jacket which I had had for years. I love the stowed hood, material and colour. It’s also got a lining which makes it warmer and more useful for normal winter wear. I compared it to several other competitors jackets and it was better and cheaper.
