Berghaus Men's Cornice III InterActive GORE-TEX® Waterproof Jacket

This is a very comfortable jacket, I have had a Gore-tex Berghaus jacket for a over 15 years and needed a replacement. This feels a good development on that previous design, better feel on the lining and though it has fewer pockets, those it has are much more watertight. Excellent buy.

I decided to purchase this Berghaus Men's Cornice GORE-TEX® Jacket from Blacks online, and it arrived 2 days later. The quality of the coat is outstanding especially for the sale price. 10/10

Bought this coat about 17 years ago am with the batching fleece attachment gummy okd coat is still excellent for keeping out the weather as waterproof it’s light with 2 way zip
Nessasary for driving on in car being sat as coat more than a jacket’ handle zip with a little care and it will last for years! blacks sale a bargain deal

Excellent jacket , very comfortable while walking over Dartmoor and lightweight, rolls up to fit in a rucksack but not as small as some jackets but it does feel more secure and weatherproof than them .
Would work well with the zip in fleece but probably would have to leavey jumper off to be comfortable.
Size wise am 6ft 1"with a 44" chest and large fit well but could go to XL if I wanted but not smaller.
I like the roll away hood so it doesn't constantly hit me in the back of the head when it's windy,as I very rarely use it .
Coats in daily use and feels like it will last years.

I felt it was time to replace a jacket (used for damp weather protection during reasonable temps). The Cornice is of similar design however has less pockets but retains the mesh type lining inside for comfort. I wanted a hidden hood similar to my previous, there are not that many options out there. I would note that I ordered both M / L sizes as I'm usually between these (previous M) however I found both way too large. I'm 43' chest and found the S fits better and still affords a few inches room even with sweatshirt underneath.

I got this to replace my old berghaus of 15 years, my previous one had 2 additional very large net pockets inside which this one doesn't, front 2 pockets have zip closure with upgraded button fasteners and 1 left chest zip pocket. Jacket was a good price and very quickly delivered, it's lightweight so i purchased an additional fleece, the fleece has pockets but once zipped into this jacket the pockets are redundant, i got xxl and size is perfect for me, hood is good and can be folded away and closed in by velcro fasteners. Overall i would recommend this as its good value and true to size

I bought this to replace an earlier version which has done many years of nearly daily service while working as a field service engineer, but is now showing signs of wear although still fully waterproof. If this new one does as well I will be more than happy. The main difference I have found is the outer pocket flaps now have press-stud fastenings at both ends instead of Velcro at one end only. This seems to be an improvement to me. Happy with it so far.

Great waterproof jacket, have had same previously, last a long time. Great waterproof used when walking dogs in the rain and hill walking. Also can be folded up reasonably easily for packing in a rucksack.

Well made and feels very out doorish. It needs a fleece lining which for a Berghaus Interactive light weight Polartec Thermal will cost you another £70 to £90 GDP which will zip in to the shell. Cheaper fleece alternatives are available from Berghaus but I suspect not so heat retentive efficient.

I brought one of these coats about 20 years ago, it has lasted well but is a bit shabby after all these years, so I now have a new smart one. It no longer comes with a fleece but you can still zip a fleece into it and it is excellent for keeping out wind and rain. Despite the different colour everything else about it seems to be very similar so hopefully it will last another 20+ years.

Good fit. Feels nice and totally waterproof. Great for dog walking

I would highly recommend this coat ,it's got loads of pockets and is extra long in the back ,covering your bum,ideal for dog walking in the woods

Great light waterproof. Go with trousers I bought a few weeks ago, so impressed I bought the jacket.
Wish the pockets were vertical rather than horizontal…. But I knew that when I purchased.

Fully waterproof and wind proof great for taking your dog for long walk’s during the winter

You pay for the name.

Not " used in anger" yet but looks good quality. Will revert once I've tried it in heavy rain!
