Eurohike Rydal 500 5 Person Tent

Used this tent 3 times now, small enough to put up all by myself when I go just me and my daughter but big enough to fit another 2 people in if we wanted to bring family/friends too. Super easy to put up on my own, haven't used it in the rain yet so can't comment on waterproofness but stayed up fine in quite strong winds and is easy enough to put away as well. A great little tent for us, I wouldn't say it sleeps 5 though definitely max 4!

Very happy with this tent ' although not used yet. Friends have one so I no it's a good size . Just beware when ordering on line it can get lost in post . but this is down to evri delivery. Company . One of my friends having same problem

We’ve used these for Scout camps a couple of times and they’re fairly easy to pitch. However they do not take a lot of use before they start to show signs of the low price point. The main issues are the seams and how easily they split, along with the door skirt. This is easily trapped in a position that allows rain in, flooding the whole tent. If this is being used by younger campers this can be a serious design flaw! There are similar tents at a little more money that might be better options.

Absolute joke! Ordered tent and booked to go camping 10 days later, thinking I had allowed plenty of time for the tent to arrive! 7 days passed and still no tent, with Hermes tracker saying it was too big and needed to be delivered by a specialist courier!! I asked blacks to chase this a total of 3 times, with a promise of an update the first 2 times, which never happened, and eventually resulting in them saying they would have to put it down as a lost delivery! Whilst all this was going on, I lost out on the money I had paid for the pitch I booked! I was told another tent would be sent out immediately and there was plenty of stock. After another 5 days of waiting I had not received any shipping notifications, so contacted blacks for the 4th time! Whilst the agent I spoke to was helpful, he informed me after a while that there wasn’t enough stock to fulfil my order, and he would have to refund me!! So to sum all this up, I paid for a tent, waited 3 weeks, just to get a refund. I am extremely annoyed at the service I have been given, and will not be using or recommending blacks anymore!

We bought this tent just to have a few long weekend breaks. As my wife had never camped before I didn't want to spend lots in case she didn't like it. It is a nice large tent for a couple to stay in with plenty of room to sleep and have your luggage. It rained really heavy on our first day the tent stayed dry/ stable. I like camping and know how to erect a tent so the flaws should have been picked up by R&D. The sewn in bedroom puts strain on the materials when bending center pole making it tare a bit. Poles to thick this with square ends on metal inserts making it catch on threading through.

We just bought this to go camping in typical Scottish weather. It can withstand days of relentless torrential rain. Loads of space, plenty height so that your not crouched over moving about. Easy to pitch. Lots of storage and hooks. Downside that lost it 5 stars. This is supposed to by a £300 plus tent yet it doesn't come with the porch tent poles that the tent opening is built for. The main reception area to the tent could also do with some netting so that you can get the air in without the midges. For the 51% off though, can't fault it .

You get what you pay for. Set it up, after waiting nearly 2 weeks for it to arrive...and it started leaking through to the bedroom as soon as it started raining. Had to pack everything up on my own with 2 little kids and 2 dogs all on my own. Took it back to the shop, didn’t even get an apology! Ordered a new tent from elsewhere, came within 2 days.
