Although these shoes are...
Although these shoes are relatively good quality the tab inside the tongue is too obtrusive and on a walk really irritates the upper foot.
Good shoes but check your size carefully
I bought a pair of these to replace an old pair of Merrell hiking shoes which were starting to wear smooth on the soles. I assumed the same size would be ideal but these have a more rounded toe and one a walk up Ingleborough I ended up with a black toe nail as they pinched my toes.
They felt fine when I first tried them and on an initial quick walk in the fields but obviously I should have tried them for longer, luckily I took my old pair of Merrell's with me as well!

Comfortable. Excellent general purpose shoe. Not as good as they were but still very good and look smart enough to wear out.
