Light weight
Bought these for work after reading some reviews and having the same make in a walking trainer, but very disappointed that the 7 was far too tight and when placed next to my own shoe same size and make there was a very noticeable difference in size length and width. Trying to send back for a refund but having some issues with my local Asda to send this product back. Plus points light weight and gortex
So far, very impressed!
These are the 1st Merrell walking boots I've bought and, like the walking shoe/trainer counter-part, I've found them very comfortable and a great fit.. I walk my 3 labs miles everyday, over all types of terrain and in all kinds of weather. These boots have already had the baptism of fire, walking along diused railway lines, closed down open cast land etc in some torrential rain and have proved very sturdy and, more importantly, waterproof!
So far, so good and highly recommended, but do tie double bows!
Excellent Boots but unfortunately too small
Just what I wanted but size 9 (my size in all my other shoes) was small fitting and particularly tight across the toes. Had to return but could not order 9.5 as sold out. Very disappointed.
Perfect on Wainwright's Coast to Coast
II bought these boots before starting Wainwright's Coast to Coast walk. They were comfortable straight from the box & coped with a wide variety of terrain - mountain, forest tracks, bog & tarmac. Little sign of wear after over 200 miles. A bargain at £89.
Very Impressed
I bought these for my partner for Christmas. He’s not had them long so cannot comment on longevity. However, true to size. He says they’re really light weight and comfortable. He likes that they’re warm but don’t make his feet sweat as often warm boots do. They also look really smart and he can get away with putting them with jeans. I did a lot of research before buying… and it paid off! Highly recommend
Bought a pair of these walking boots last December. Sizing was very small so had to exchange for larger size but thought I was then all set. Sadly they have been poor despite only having been used on half a dozen long walks. Soles have worn really quickly and cracks in Fabric have meant waterproofing no longer working so basically useless.
Have bought some North Face Boots from Blacks this week. Will never buy Merrell again.
