The Kiwi Pro II Winter Lined Trousers take protection to the next level. Anti-insect treatment is built into the fibres of the trousers instead of being a treatment that gets added on afterwards. This ensures that the protection lasts for the product’s lifetime.
Sun protection is delivered by three factors – the density of the fabric, the type of yarns used and the dark colour of the material. By combining these, a performance of UPF40+ is achieved. When the sun isn’t your problem and you’re experiencing wet conditions, the plant-based water-repellent coating quickly sheds rain droplets to keep you dry.
A soft brushed winter lining has been added to these pants to make them warmer and more comfortable during the colder months. They are still breathable and don’t cause excessive sweating on intense hikes.

Good quality trousers would recommend going down a size as they are a little roomy unless you want to wear base layers underneath but apart from that they are excellent trousers and very good price

I bought these for my wife and she loves them.
Sizin
The Kiwi trousers seemed at first look to be perfect - just like the ones I already have UNTIL I tried them on. They are 'hipsters' i.e. they don't come up to the waist. The web site doesn't say so. If I'd known, I wouldn't have ordered them. Such a shame.
Women’s Kiwi Pro Fleece lined Trousers
These trousers fit true to size and are of a good quality material.
I like the reinforced knee areas and the two pockets (one at each hip).
They seem to be mid rise, rather than sitting firmly on my waist though. This would be the improvement in design I’d like to see, as I find high rise trousers more comfortable and it’s easier to tuck tops and shirts into high rise trousers.

Very comfortable with warm lining, great for cold winter walks. Love the stretch in the fabric so much better than old design. Would highly recommend.

I got them to walk the dog in the cold weather, there warm and comfortable to walk in and they seem to be shower proof not sure what they would be like in a complete downpour. But they certainly keep the pinch of cold air off you legs for sure.
