It boasts a moulded nylon arch shank for support and an embedded EVA midsole for torsional support as well as stability and cushioning underfoot. The Accentor has a bellows tongue to keep out debris while the protective rubber toe cap offers durability and protection. With a sticky rubber outsole for traction and an air cushion in the heel, these shoes absorb shock and add stability to every step.

Great comfort and fit
Good quality and comfortable
This is my second pair of merrell walking shoes,I love them they fit true to size and can be worn very comfortably from the first time of wearing. The waterproofing maybe needs improvement but that is easily remedied by keeping them well maintained.
Not waterproof
These are great trainers but went out through a. Wet field and my feet got wet. Does not match description - very disappointing

This is the third pair I've had. The style has changed slightly over the years, but same comfort and fit. I have a slightly wide foot and these shoes are perfect for me, they are lightweight but hard wearing and the quality is great.
