Top quality ladies waterproof
Runs small
The jacket looks decent, but the sizing is off. It runs much smaller than expected, making it uncomfortable and impractical. Be prepared to return or exchange if you order your usual size.
Long style Gortex jacket
Good price in Black Friday reductions. Accurate reviews that said the sizing was wrong, which made me go up a size from a 10 to 12.
An inner zipped pocket would have made me give it 5 stars!
Beautiful jacket but has issues!
After a lot of research I settled on this jacket. I live by the sea and I have a dog. It’s beautifully made and is well designed.BUT it is extremely small.
I am a size 12/14 and I ordered a size 18 and it is snug! The main issue is the sleeves are a good two inches too long, they do tighten with Velcro but I think it’s going to be annoying. Reluctantly I think I will have to return it.
Designed for men’s bodies not women’s
I have bought quite a few Berghaus jackets over the years and been very happy with the fit. However had to send this one back.
The jacket sizing is completely different to my last one. Around 4 inches have been taken off the hip which makes it too snug with layers underneath. The sleeves are now around 3 inches longer than they used to be. Sadly I will now have to look for a different make.
Goretex ladies jacket- odd sizing
I ordered a size 18 after reading that it came up small. I usually take a 16 with ample room for a light fleece underneath. This jacket is oddly sized- the arms are slightly long with lots of material around the wrist (which can be velcro’d tight luckily) then the jacket is fairly tight around the hips- not much room at all. It feels like it’s designed for a man’s frame than a woman’s. Having said that, it’s comfortable to wear and I’m sure will stand up to heavy rain with the Goretex. There’s also a huge map pocket and a small internal pocket- ideal for mobile phone.

Good Goretex waterproof, slightly...
Good Goretex waterproof, slightly bulkier than expected due to mesh lining but longer than usual to keep the rain off!
Lovely jacket, small fitting
Gorgeous jacket, however, I am a size 8 and ordered a 10 for the oversized fit and to ensure I could fit a base layer underneath. The jacket has arrived today and is extremely small fitting. I will be exchanging for a 14.

Super jacket and excellent ladies fit. However, Blacks use DPD as a delivery service and this made the purchase a rather frustrating experience. They offered no flexibility on delivery options and if you work 6 days a week it makes online shopping very difficult.
