Great comfortable boot

Being a size 12 its so hard to find a decent fitting walking boot, given that its normally better to go a half size over on boots. After reading many reviews about this boot being on the large side I decided go for it and ordered the size 12s. Absolutely delighted with the fit. Very comfy worn with thick socks. They took no breaking in at all and I was confident walking over the hills in the Peak District, that I would return without blisters or sore feet. I would say that these are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned, including the well known brands.
Well done on an excellent product!

Comfortable wide fit walking boots

I bought these boots because reviews suggested they were for wide feet. They are very comfortable and of course I can wear thick socks with them.. They are also very reasonably priced (especially after discount) for boots made with leather.

Really good - but very large

These are really great and sturdy shoes. Have used them a bit in the snow. But they are huge. I'm usually a UK 13 and I went with a 12 and there is still a bit of room but I won't complain since this almost never happens. I think they're designed with thick socks in mind. Would fully recommend, but get a size underneath what you usually would

Strong Well Made Boots

Nice waterproof leather boots. Good looking but heavy. Very oversized.

Good quality boots

Sturdy, waterproof, comfortable and decent looking. Exactly what I was after. Only done a couple of short walks so far, but very good.
Agree with the other reviews about size. I’m usually a 9.5 so tried a 9 and 10. Size 9 with thick socks still feels roomy.
Picked them up in sale, which was a bonus.

The best boot that I have ever owned (And I have owned a few

The boots that I purchase came up large. So a size 11 boot is suitable for a normal size 11 wearer with two pairs of thick socks on.
Extremely comfortable and waterproof. Walked 70 mile in mine and would not be without them.

They are huge

I got size 11s and they are absolutely huge. I stupidly wore so can’t return. All my shows are 11 but I assume I would have needed a 10 in these random boots.

Good first impressions

First impression is that these are decent boots.

Still quite stiff after 20 miles but not uncomfortable. Very light weight. Good sole. Just to test the waterproofing, I stood in a burn for a minute or so up to 3rd/4th set of eyes and feet are still dry.

Drop a star for being wide fitting and big made. I’ve had to insert an additional insole. However I can overlook this because of the price. They’ll do...

Replacement boots

Bought these to replace my trusty fabric walking boots that have served me well but want a leather pair instead.
Bought on appearance and the look of quality as there wasn’t any reviews on the boots at time of purchase.
I’ve now worn these on two occasions on long walks the latest very wet and muddy and they kept my feet dry, warm and were very comfortable so only time will tell
