Does exactly what it...
Does exactly what it says on the tin!
I always go for Gore-tex garments because I live
and work in the Lake district. It protected me from very bad conditions whilst out for 6 hour walk around Buttermere and Crummock water last week with a "very energetic" puppy to handle. Very impressed indeed for the price.
I would 100% advise trying it on before buying as sizes seemed to be smaller than I was expecting.
The fact it's a shell jacket (waterproofing/wind proofing layer) and the last layer you put on in bad conditions means I always go at least one size above my normal size because the layering underneath is very important for warmth and comfort, so leave room for it! . I found the jacket excellent even after 6 hours of walking in heavy rain and strong winds with not a drop of moisture inside at all (very good breathability indeed). All in all, very good for the price.

Great piece of kit'...
Great piece of kit' especially at sale price. Great hood, the high collar will either be loved or hated, I'm a big fan when the coat is done up entirely - it might get irritating on a windy dry day
