OEX Women's Fortitude Waterproof Jacket

Loads of great features, and ok for short shower but I’m just in from a very soggy 4 hour walk and the rain soaked through after an hour so that three of my layers underneath were wet :(

Nice looking jacket, but not waterproof at all. The whole jacket seeped in water, across the shoulders, down the arms, through the hood, all around the bottom and even the pockets. It can cope with a light mist and that's about it. Odd because all the zips look properly waterproof. Glad I didn't pay full price.

This jacket is totally waterproof, i have watched the heavy rain sloughing off it. I've walked through heavy fog, a rain cloud on the summit of Mount Snowdon, gale force winds didn't penetrate and the peaked hood was perfect. I bought black but love it so much I might get the blue too

This was a well lined jacket and waterproof. Lining in the sleeve means it was nice to wear even with short sleeves underneath: zips and vents are in good places, but sadly the zip on the breast pocket has broken less than a year after buying it. It was never overloaded; only ever held a phone so was never under stress; has never been scrunched up in a bag. So now it has a major ingress point for water that I cannot close. Will attempt to tape it shut and make it waterproof but the best pocket has gone. Not quite the quality I’d expect for a jacket at this price

I bought this jacket for my wife thinking it looked good, and was a good price for a waterproof jacket. It sits well and has some good features in terms of drawstrings in the waist and hood. But last night my wife was out with the dog and got caught in a heavy shower (it's first real test). The shower didn't last long, but she felt dampness coming through at the shoulders, even though she had headed for the shelter of the trees. I guess I'm going to have to spend real money on a genuine waterproof shell and this jacket will be a windbreaker for dog walking days with only light showers.

Got caught in a downpour and sorry to say this jacket is most certainly not waterproof, more like shower resistant.

Ordered size 10 the hood was too small and the jacket wasn’t big enough to wear a chunky sweater on colder days. Returned for a 12 which is perfect. Love the colour and flattering style with orange trim. It has all the details I was looking for in a wet coat. Haven’t tested in heavy rain yet. 20% discount made it a value for money purchase.

Lovely colour and detail / colour. Hood better than most I’ve tried. Nice and fitted compared to lots of similar, baggy products on market but I sized up for autumn layering. Although I am in between sizes anyway so it’s perfect. Haven’t tried in wet weather yet but hopeful it is waterproof for lots of walks.

Best purchase ever. Bought a size 8, it fits great and also allows another couple of layers underneath for extra warmth. Wore it in rainy weather and it’s perfect. Loads of pockets too.
