Not up to Vango's usual standard

Having been a loyal Vango customer for many years, I was very disappointed in this tent. The bedroom area is fine for 2 adults under 5ft 10", plus kit, but not for 3. The build quality was very poor with visible holes in the rip stop fabric; a seam opened up in the flysheet during mild winds; and rain poured in through the sides of the porch area rendering all our gear soaking wet. Why could this not have a sewn in ground sheet? Poor, poor show Vango.

Poles broke

Two of the poles broke on the tent's second outing - received a full refund via Vango's two year warranty. Also water easily got into the porch area. It's a shame because this is about the only 2/3 man poled tent on the market that you can stand up in .

The Vango Latitude 200 SuperQuad sleeping bag is a large size, which is great for those of us who hate to be constrained when sleeping. Not used it outside yet but it feels very good quality and cosy when inside. The actual hood is on the small size and doesn’t fit over the head completely, so i wouldn’t call it a hood but you can tighten the toggle cords to keep the top of your head warmish and wear a hat if needed. The toggle around the shoulders is great and stop draughts So, i imagine i will be nice and cosy if i scoot down a bit.

Overall Good but......

I give this tent 4 stars despite the fact that a couple of improvements could be made. the Tent is spacious and the porch it's a real treat for good and bad weather. very sturdy particularly when the additional TBS system is in place. We had a relatively strong wind one night and no issue at all. down sides are some water can get in from the sides of the front porch. Pitching time it's a bit longer then what described. consider at least 30 min. very good is the weight ratio considered the size. only 5.5kg. excellent for 2 people up to 3 max.
