Peter Storm Women’s Silverdale Waterproof Walking Shoe

I have had 2 pairs of these. Perfect fit, very comfortable. I walk @ 4miles a day. But... they have both split in exactly the same places, not worn out or around the seams. Not through to lining so have continued to use after husband 'glued' split but reluctantly I will nit be purchasing a 3rd pair....which now means hassle of finding something else that fits perfectly.

I have been wearing my walking shoes for a few weeks now and are as good as my last pair. The quality and the finish are excellent. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and my feet are very important to me and my Peter Storm walking shoes are like gloves on my feet. They allow me to walk for an hour in the morning and afternoon with my dog and my feet don't complain.

Very good shoe for everyday walking. Comfy, well fitted size 7 for a broad foot. No remarks or blisters!! Sole a bit stiff but otherwise can't fault

These are sturdy and have been waterproof so far. I walked a considerable distance in them the first time I wore them and they were comfortable throughout.

I have recently bought this pair of walking shoes to replace another pair. Having bi-lateral foot drop, I use splints(Xtern by Turbomed) These fit perfectly with the shoes, attaching easily. The shoes are an excellent fit with no "pinching" anywhere and lovely padding for protection and comfort. A fantastic buy!

So far seem to be ok

I got these in shop so I could try them on and they have been comfortable from taking them out of the box. I'm glad I got a size larger than usual - 8 - as they do come up small and these are like a 7.5 which gives me the extra room for my feet to swell!!!! I have got Merrel in the past but never again as wear out quickly and hardly ever waterproof whereas these are and so much cheaper. We walk about 6.5 miles a day on different terrains and these are lasting better than others, well done Peter Storm and Blacks for the price!

Immediately comfortable walking shoes, good for rocky paths.

These come up small. Should have ordered a 1/2 size bigger… Will use for short local walks only….otherwise good shoes…

These walking shoes are great value for money; comfortable, stylish and waterproof! Good grippy sole. I’m very impressed.

This is a very comfortable shoe. I just wish the laces were a little longer to do a double knot. All in all a good buy.

True to size, really comfy. I was worried that they would be big and bulky (and ugly) but they're really cute and not too heavy. My other concern was because I have a long foot (UK women's 7.5) they may automatically make them wide as well, but for my long and narrow feet, they are a perfect fit. Can't wait to take them up a mountain or two! Also, really good price.

I am a Nordic Walking Instructor and get through quite a few pairs throughout the year, and I can honestly say that these walking shoes are very comfortable, waterproof, excellent value

I use this shoe for a mountain biking walking mix & other casual use. When off and on the bike the shoes while light & comfortable cope with short bursts of rough terrain. This (womens) version contours my size 7 feet better than the stronger mid-sole but shapeless Eskdale that I also own,.whch are better for all-day or cold-weather walking.

Comfortable, no need to wear in, stylish and waterproof.

I bought these walking shoes for working in the garden. They were a good price and are really comfy so I can garden all day happily in them. I bought these as they were waterproof and so far so good. Very happy with my shoes. I haven't the 4 stars as they were a bit stiff and uncomfortable to begin with but I'm sure that will get better the more I wear them.
