Peter Storm Men’s Lindale Waterproof Walking Shoe

My second pair of these shoes - the first pair lasted 6000 km but are now deteriorating!
Comfortable from the outset and no breaking in required. I buy them one size larger than my regular shoes.
Couldn’t believe the speed of delivery. Ordered on 23 December and delivered on Christmas Eve.

Comfy and stylish walking shoes. I think they will last a long time.

My first pair have lasted 3 years with regular use, but not every day. The side seam of the right shoe came apart approximately 6 months ago which I successfully glued back together. The soles are significantly worn and the heels are well into the soft inner comfort layer. They are waterproof in average wet conditions, but do because damp internally in heavy down pours.

Comfy and seem to fit my wide feet well. Only 4*because not really used in anger yet.

I wanted a light weight strong walking shoe with good grip. After comparing others I bought the Peter Storm Lindale Waterproof Walking shoe. Sold as a UK 10 and not as a comparison EU or US approximation. Great result fitted perfectly. Very comfortable and delivered promptly. Would highly recommend.

This is a replacement pair of shoes that were purchased due to my earlier pair that were less than 4 months old that had failed at the stitching on the outside foot of my left shoe.
Other than this failure I found the shoe good quality for everyday walking on various terrain as well as weather conditions.

TThese are in fact my 4th pair of Peter Storm Lindales. I use them constantly because they are so comfortable - I have wide feet that make other walking boots or shoes uncomfortable. My first pair, bought 6 years ago wore the sole down faster than I had expected, and the second pair is starting to suffer the same fate. I have a third pair that I've been keeping for serious use, and now have the 4th pair that I plan to keep for "smart wear". I clock up some miles in these shoes, and apart from the soles wearing out I love them to bits.

I have had Peter Storm Grizedale shoes before & they are very good. These are not. The toe seam split within a year during which I hadn't worn them much so I ended up using them as an indoor shoe. Bonkers!

This walking shoes were comfortable for many years, but my 5th walking shoes' quailty gets worse with seams (toes area). Seams are splits within 2 months. Very disaapoint with quality control.

This is my second pair of Peter Storm Lindale walking shoes, they are extremely comfy, look very smart & wear really well (the first pair lasted over 3 years) when they do wear out I know what I will replace them with- another pair of Peter Storm Walking Shoes

Really comfortable walking shoe. I found that i could walk in them from the start without needing to break them in with short distances.The width is very important to me personally on any footwear and these shoes are very good in that respect.

Feels of good construction.not had a chance to test waterproofness. Merrells gprtex previously bought were rubbish for waterproof. So needed to find relia le paur .hope peter storm meet their claim.

I found this shoe to be very comfortable straight out of the box however after less than a year the seams are splitting on both shoes, as other reviewers have also experienced. These aren't a cheap shoe and I've only leisurely walked in them which is why the fault is so disappointing and annoying. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't buy again.

Disappointing that the shoes have developed such a basic fault and are not durable.

These walking shoes are very good. There is an inherent weakness though in the stitching between the front and side of the shoe. In both of my previous purchases this is the area that fails first before anything else has worn out. Will buy again but manufacturers should strengthen the shoes in this area.
