A waterproof fabric with a hydrostatic head of 5,000mm combined with fully sealed stitching and seams makes the Women’s Grisedale Jacket ideal for wet weather. Ideal for walks on the hill or around the city, the jacket is built to perform and keep you dry and comfortable. The clever airflow system maximises breathability whilst the wide storm flap closure creates an impenetrable barrier against poor weather conditions.
The high face guard provides comfort on colder days while the adjustable hood can be pulled on when rain starts to fall. Velcro cuffs and a drawcord cinched waist provide a bespoke fit and enhanced protection against the elements. Stash your essentials safely within the two lower zipped, brushed-back handwarmer pockets.

Longer length is exactly what I was looking for, colour very good too. However I have had to turn up the sleeves as they are too long.

Ordered size 14 (am...
Ordered size 14 (am 12-14), good fit with room for layers underneath. Like the longer length which gives better protection in rainy weather.

It's an excellent jacket; the hood keeps the wind out and it's a graceful shape. I can also fit a warm jerkin underneath.

Brasher Grisedale Womens. Bought on brand name as ive had a pair of G'tex boots from 16 years and still going strong. Bought for the other half, went a size up on 14 and bought the 16 based on other reviews and absolutely spot on. Plum colour is fab and has the appropriate features for outdoor recreational use, good sized pockets. including chest pocket outside behind the storm flap as opposed to the inside which is great. Cannot comment on waterproofing yet as another reviewer has said shoulders struggle to repel water and don't know if i can update review if that arises hence the four stars.

Nice but not waterproof
I like this coat. I got it 2 sizes bigger cus I found it small and also like room for jumpers underneath. But I've just worn it for only the second time, in not very heavy rain for 20 minutes and the shoulders are soaked through. It's disappointing to say the least. I will now have to spend more money and time waterproofing this jacket.

Fitted well and long enough. Just been in heavy rain and strong winds and the jacket has done its job. Kept me dry and the close fitting hood kept the wind out. Very pleased.

Jacket is good fit and a bit longer which was main reason for choice. Colour was nice and matched the advert. Good value for money for price paid. Only time will tell how waterproof it is but so far so good.

Size was small normally a 12 had to go up a size. Not disappointed with the quality. I would definitely buy another one.

Lovely Jacket, bit on the small side for an 18, so no chunky sweater or it would be a mite tight around the waist, but having said that I like the Jacket, and love the colour!
