Kids Fourstones
Perfect
Ordered a size 9-10 for my 8 year old and it's perfect. It arrived promptly and we have already tested it out in a huge rain storm. It's fully waterproof and very cosy too. The pockets are great. Overall it's spot on for a very outdoorsy boy.
Impressive coat
I wanted to get a coat for my son's walk to school (10mins) that would keep him warm and dry. This delivers on every level. Waterproof and winter proof and looks 'cool' and has very deep pockets so passes and cards don't get lost. Really happy. Considering one for myself!
On the small side
Ordered 2 coats. Both in stock but delivered separately, the second arriving a week later.
First coat, size age 8-9, comfortably fits our 7 year old.
Second coat, size 11-12, fits our 9 year old wearing a t-shirt, but does not fit a fleece under.
Both lovely coats. Snug and warm. Would recommend sizing up.

Gorgeous coat for the...
Gorgeous coat for the winter. Lovely quality and will keep grandson warm during the cold months ahead. Cannot fault it.
However the only downside was delivery, it took far too long being as there was a delivery charge, expected much better from Black's

Nice and warm if you keep it closed. It’s synthetic so that’s par for the course. Good looking too and waterproof. One star down because there is velcro on the pockets and near the zip, and the fabric cuff tends to get caught and have threads pulled by it. Over the past few days I’ve had to go and trim the lint off that builds on the wrists as a result. Apart from that the coat is well built and sturdy

I cannot comment on performance as it has not been worn in anger yet (hence 4 stars) but what a great looking, feeling, quality piece of kit. Certainly a Berghaus product.
