Their lacing system is derived from the Mythos climbing model and allows adjustment of the tension and fit volume in just one move.

Excellent, fully waterproof, light
Excellent but narrow!
Excellent boot but a much narrower than normal fit. I don;t have particularly wide feet but had to send them back. A shame!
A good lightweight boot
Tive had these boots for over a year, I've done various terrains, I've used them in wet condition and dry conditions. Grip is very good for grade 1 and and 2 scrambles. I've done Tryfan North Ridge, sharp edge and done over 20 hikes in these boot and have easily covered 150 miles+. In my opinion they are a flexible and comfortable boot. I'm contemplating purchasing another design of the lasportiva boots, probably the Bolda. The only downside is I was sent some ex display boots by Blacks that had scuff marks on them.

Incredibly comfortable and sturdy....
Incredibly comfortable and sturdy. Not yet convinced about the longevity of the suede uppers, particularly in very wet hiking.

Great lightweight technical boot
Bought these for a 26 mile hike along mixed national pathway, but also for general hiking and hillwalking. Was drawn to the light weight, unique semi-climbing styling and technical spec. After a good 13 mile mountain hike through the Beacons as a test run I'm impressed with both comfort and sturdiness. They took a good pounding and came out still looking like new. If you're looking for a lighter weight mid-cut hiking boot I would recommend these La Sportiva's.

Bought two pairs for thin and thick socks. They do come up a little narrow so go 1/2 size up or try when your feet are warm. Suede and welting is superb quality as are the laces. Very quick to do up snugly and add support where needed. Great grip on all surfaces but the soles do wear if route marching on tarmac (see dog for details). Well recommended and will definitely buy again
