Berghaus Women's Stormcloud Waterproof Jacket

Purchased this for my wife online. Was happy with the weatherproofing qualities on outer but when I received the jacket was disappointed re the inner material. Totally unconvinced that the material would be breathable and the size of the jacket would restrict putting a fleece on underneath. Returned to store without a problem and bought another more suitable jacket with better qualities in the sale.

Must admit to being slightly disappointed so the coat, it’s for my wife and she had had Berghaus clothing before which had been fine but this is a little small so no space at all to wear a fleece or jumper etc under it for those cold dog winter dog walks, the coat itself is a plastic lined Mac, looks nice from the outside but I think it will really make anyone wearing it sweaty, Wife wants to keep it although I’d have returned it, we’ll see how it goes

It’s average,couldn’t wear just a t shirt underneath as the material sticks to your arms like a plastic mattress protector.Not really work the price tag.Theres better jackets out there

Great service fast delivery and a great price for a coat

This is the second Berghaus jacket from Blacks that I’ve had. The first is now too big for me having shed some weight, so a relative has commandeered it - still going strong after a few years. I missed it so much when I gave it away that I decided to get another and found this one as a perfect replacement. Good quality, long lasting, versatile - wear it any time of year if you put warm layers and a fleece underneath. I did get a size larger than I’d usually wear, to give plenty of room for layers. Packs away in a bag or case and is much more convenient than carrying an umbrella. Love It!

I bought my partner one and we both liked it so much we now have 2 each . Simple jacket that does the job perfectly, looks and feels great to wear either over layers or on its own when warmer . Personally I like the lining more than mesh . Great choice of colours too

Bought this jacket just in time for all the rain it has been chucking it down and not 1 bit of rain has got through,
It is thin your best wearing a jumper underneath for warmth however I’m a bigger lass so does me just fine as I’m always warm.
You get used to the material inside

Looks nice but no lining or ventilation and it’s so noisy when you move, like wearing a black bin bag. Not for me, I took it back and bought a Berghaus gore text jacket, cost a lot more money but worth it, definitely waterproof, it’s been well tested over the last week!

Definitely does the job , really well made, rolls up small, hood covers the head and stays up.
I bought a size 14 (because of my bust)
Will take a fleece/jumper.
Any cons ?Maybe more pockets . There are only 2

Great quality and great fit. I checked the measurements before purchasing and they were spot on. It’s light weight and comfortable. It’s perfect.

I really should of sent the jacket back but needed a waterproof quickly . It is unlined and quite basic for the price. I have only worn it in light rain so I haven't tested it in heavier rain. I was a bit disappointed as Berghaus is normally good quality.

Really recommend- very breathable and waterproof

There is not much to this coat. There was no lining so it felt uncomfortable against the skin. I’m sure it would have been waterproof but decided for the price, it wasn’t worth keeping. The hood arrangement was good and would have kept the wind and rain off the face.

Very happy with the product, lightweight and waterproof - perfect for layering. So far so good!
