Reviewed by Duncan Whyte - 12th Apr, 2020 Good quality trail walker, 3 season, moderate terrain. These shoes offer a good compromise between sturdiness and weight. The fit is snug, and the lacing makes for adjustable tensions and fit. So your foot doesnt slip about, and this prevents less blister formation. You can feel the terrain you walk on, and placing your feet is more accurate. The sole has enough sturdiness to protect the feet from high points such as loose stones etc. Unlike boots they are far lighter, and pick up less mud. You will get wet feet, so learn to walk in this way and you will be okay on a distance trail, in 3 season conditions. I did the Pennine Way in them.
