Rain! What rain!
Good quality but access to map pocket restricted.
I have had many Berghaus Glissade jackets over the years, so I knew to check whether it had a map pocket before buying online. What I hadn’t anticipated was the position of the zip for the map pocket; in this version it is under the main zip, so if you want to get anything out of it you have to pull the main zip down first. I’m not sure why anyone would want it that way round?
Perfect for my needs
This was a replacement for similar, but warn out, jacket. Almost identical but slightly tighter fitting which I like.
Waterproof, with hood and good pockets - perfect.

EXCELLENT QUALITY
I’m very pleased with the fabric quality it’s very comfortable to wear no stiffness whatsoever, the fit looks good with plenty of room to wear a warm fleece underneath.
I’ve not worn it in any heavy rain as yet but I’m sure it will prove it’s self.

Hi. I am so pleased with (my 6th) Berghaus Glissade III jacket (not worn out - just have several colours). I am size 16-18. The 18 jacket is roomy and comfortable (enough room to actually wear other clothes underneath it, unlike some jackets-including other Berghaus ones). It is a perfect design-flattering, roomy, easy(ish) to wash, keeps out the wind/rain, big pockets, and the sleeves are long enough to cover the top part of your hands/gloves (rather than finishing halfway down your wrist like most women's clothes, eg. M&S!) Please keep stocking these. (Forest?) Green and also Berry pref.!
Too large
A good quality coat but just too large for me. I could have sized down but then the bottom of the coat would have been a bit tight. I returned, Blacks were a good company to deal with and refunded me promptly.

This coat/jacket has a thr features I was looking for, roll away hood, poper fastening at front, not velcro,
2 outside pocket, and an internal etc.. but I was looking for something a little longer. Would help if length measurements were given.
Will be returning for refund.

Excellent product top quality I have been trying to get this jacket for some time in a size 12 but it was only available in a size 8 and 10 so I bought size 10 as I may have not been able to get one.
Great jacket
Great jacket - longer length and can zip in my fleece when it’s cold . Only buy Berghaus goretex jackets to guarantee staying dry!
Disappointed
The jacket stayed waterproof for approx 3 months. My last jacket lasted
years without the need for reproof.
I have contacted Berghaus who have stated to reproof the jacket to see if this improves its condition.
I will do but for a jacket that has a RRP of £265 i would expect it to be better.
Wont buy again and i have bought this brand for many years
great jacket shame about the internal zipper
Lovely jacket. great fit to size with loadsa room. Loved poppers instead of velcro fastenings.. Loved shaping of collar and roomy hood which can be sized up. Also really liked being able to pull waist in for shaping. Great colour and got at sale price. Great length too.
Unfortunately internal zips not fitted correctly. On the wrong side and unable to fit a fleece which is the point of a 3 in 1
Had bought an £80 Berghaus fleece,(will keep as quality excellent...Bought direct from Berghaus) but unable to fit so had to return item which I am very unhappy about .Is this why so much off in sale?

Berghaus jacket
Bought size 20 as 1.81m tall, good length sleeves and jacket covers backside. Nice to be able to pull in waist so doesn’t look like a barrel. Hood and neckline good. Would have liked pit zips. Pockets low front of jacket. Agree with another reviewer colour Matt Navy I’m happy with it but product photo looks lighter blue with slightly metallic finish. Packs down well but is bulkier than previous GTX soft shell. At this price it’s a good quality jacket have yet to test in a downpour…

Certainly kept the wind...
Certainly kept the wind out the other day. Have yet to try pouring rain, but I am sure it will be fine. Only disappointment was it seemed a much darker blue than in the on line photos as I thought I was getting a lovely air force blue colour. Need a pillar box red one now!

It got baptised the first time I wore it! A great waterproof jacket with enough adjusters to make it a perfect fit. Many pockets which I love. It kept me totally dry in the downpour.
