Returned as the size...
Returned as the size 9 was too small. Odd as they were the same shoe I bought 2 years ago...

My husband and I both purchased these shoes for walking, my pair from the women's section (still trying to work out what the difference is). When walking about the house we thought the shoes were comfortable enough but anything over one mile and we've both found them very uncomfortable from the ball of the foot to the toe area. It's almost like there is insufficient padding and hard on your feet. So as you can imagine we are very disappointed as they are too expensive to just try another pair. I'm going to buy a front insole but you shouldn't need to do this with high quality shoes.
Unbelievably comfortable even on very long hikes
I love these shoes. They’re light and comfortable, with excellent support. They grip better than any hiking boots I’ve had before, and they feel just as good at the end of the hike as they do at the start. They’re designed to be breathable and not designed to be waterproof, so they’re definitely more of a summer walking shoe, especially in Scotland! The only difficulty I had with them is that they took a bit longer than expected to break them in, but once they were broken in they became the only shoes I wanted to wear out hiking.
