Lots of research led me to make the selection of this jacket and I'm very pleased with the choice I made.

Got a really good deal on these trousers in the sale, excellent fit, very comfortable for my long distance walking, water replant, love the venting zip's on the legs, I am on the larger end of a size 14 and sometimes have to order a 16 (sob, sob) but not with these trousers size 14 fits just right, well done Montane.

Took this jacket to 3 very different locations and it performed outstanding.
The first location was delamere forest (Cheshire) it made it simple very good outer layer not much to expect in this location.
The second location was kinder scout (peak district) with the harsh elements of fog, rain, wind and cold. It kept my body and mid layer dry. The elements weren’t playing nice that day so I was very impressed.
The 3rd location was moel famou (north wales) and it was very windy and performed higher than expected with the wind and did very well keeping the heat in the body. Recommendation: HIGH
