A handsomely rugged shoe made with plenty of contours and character, the new Hedgehog Hike II looks happiest on the trails. It has a high-oil, leather upper which gives it a rustic and retro vibe and it has a GORE-TEX® membrane + waterproof tongue and cuff so wet socks are a thing of the past. Inside and underneath the Hedgehog Hike II has a combination of an ESS Snake Plate™, OrthoLite® footbed and Vibram™ XS Trek sole, which marry comfort, support and grip. Available here as a high top, the Hedgehog Hike II walks all over its predecessor.

Previously owned a pair of North face hiking boots which lasted 5 years so was inclined to buy another pair. I was not wrong either, great comfort along with looks. No breaking in required and comfort is amazing. Would definitely recommend.
