The Millbeck is a breathable textile hiking boot with a waterproof lining. Similar to the full leather Caldbeck, it has been moulded on a wider last – better for thicker hiking socks – and it has a deeper lug-depth for greater grip over wet and muddy terrain.

Buy them !
Just bought these walking boots - I am size 8 but they don’t make my feet look like barges ! Great quality ,very comfy and true to size - good fit around the ankle and toes even with thick socks - a great buy especially at sale price.
Great Value Walking Boots
I bought these boots with the extra discount and I'm very pleased with them. They are fairly lightweight but the sole feels sturdy. I ordered my usual size and there is plenty of room for my toes so thicker socks can be worn if required. They are a nice shade of blue - not exactly navy - more of a dark petrol blue and they seem well made. I have already worn them out dog walking without needing to wear them in although they are a bit stiff round the ankle (no blisters though).. Overall I think they represent good value for money and I'm sure I'll get plenty of wear out of them.

I am surprised at how good these boots are for the price paid. I followed the sizing guidance and ordered my normal shoe size. I have quite wide feet but the boots were extremely comfortable from the moment I put them on and there is plenty of room for my toes. I walked six miles the first time I wore them without any problems at all. They are as good as my Meindl boots which cost three times as much.

Great walking boot. Lightweight and comfortable. Purchased a Peter Storm pair earlier this year and wanted another to compliment them. I have not been disappointed.

I bought these for dog walking based on the positive reviews, five weeks after buying them I’ve discovered they’re not at all waterproof. Half an hour into my walk in moderate rain and my socks were soaked. If you’re looking for a pair of waterproof boots, don’t buy these.
