What are the terms for purchases from Blacks?

The instalment offers that are available from PayPal Credit for the purchase of Blacks products are:

Spend on Blacks Products	Monthly Instalments	Interest Rate (per annum)
From £99	12 Months	14.9% APR
From £250	6 Months	0%

For example, if you buy something that costs £250 and repay over 6 months at 0.0% p.a., your instalments would be £41.66 each month. The total payable amount will be £250.

How does PayPal Credit work for future purchases?

If you are approved for a credit limit with PayPal Credit you can use the credit limit to pay for your Blacks purchase, and for future purchases from Blacks and elsewhere, up to your credit limit. Blacks purchases currently qualify for a special interest rate of 0.0% when you spend £250 or more and repay in 6 monthly instalments. As shown in the representative example below, the typical cost if you make purchases elsewhere, is 21.9% APR variable. PayPal Credit sometimes makes special offers or promotions when the interest rate might be lower.

How do I use PayPal Credit?

It couldn’t be easier!

You can apply for PayPal Credit directly from your basket or via the checkout.

This will guide you to PayPal Credit's application page where you can start the process of applying for PayPal Credit.

The application should take no more than 10 minutes to complete and you will then be redirected back to Blacks to complete your transaction. All that’s left to do is wait for the gear to turn up!!

Do you need to have a PayPal account?

Yes.

Once you have chosen the PayPal Credit payment option, you will be directed to the PayPal website. It is a PayPal Credit requirement that you login to your PayPal account or create an account at that point.

What do I do if I am unsuccessful in applying for PayPal Credit?

Unfortunately, we have no control over the success or decline of an application – this is all PayPal’s decision. If you have been declined, PayPal will email you with information about why your application was unsuccessful.

Don’t worry, although you weren’t approved for PayPal Credit, you can still use PayPal to check out securely with your bank account, debit or credit card.

I do not see PayPal Credit as a payment option?

Check that you are eligible by ensuring you have of a minimum spend of £99 on eligible for credit products.

Can I make a phone order and apply for PayPal Credit?

Sorry, no.

The application for PayPal Credit can only be initiated from an online order.
