Comfortable walking from the off!
Not waterproof and got a hole after 12 months
The boots are not waterproof and got a hole in the seam after 12-months, just after the warrantee ran out.
Replacement boots
We purchased a pair of these boots in September, but very disappointingly the stitching failed. We returned the boots to the store last week and they were replaced immediately. The Blacks employee was very understanding and surprised at the failure of the boots after such a short period of time. So this review is more about the staff than the boots. We're hoping the new boots last years, not months
Great boots
I had a pair of these and they lasted about 3 years. That was with daily wear dog walking and me not being great at caring for them. They were comfy and kept my feet dry. They don’t have the same support at some of the slightly higher on the ankle leather upper options. I actually found this strengthened my ankles however and the flexibility worked well. It might be a consideration for some.

I tried on so many pairs of walking boots in my search for flexible and lightweight comfortable boots and these were it. I was getting desperate as my old boots were literally falling to bits.,I’m delighted with these and walked 10 miles on the first time in total comfort. I absolutely love them. They are so light and supportive. I Hope they prove to be waterproof as some reviews through doubt on that so have sprayed them with protector anyway.
