Comfortable BUT…..
Like another review I found North Face “waterproof “ shoes to be anything but. I am hardly a technical user but I do expect them to be able to cope with dog walking in the rain or wet grass. Having struggled to find waterproof walking trainers in the past I thought a brand like North Face would meet my requirements. Sadly not. My next purchase will be another brand. I hope for more luck next time!
Not waterproof - very misleading description
The shoes claim to be waterproof, yet walking in slightly long wet grass is enough to make the top of the shoe wet and soak through to your socks. Calling these waterproof is a fine line between a misleading description and being mis-sold.
When purchasing North Face products it is reasonable to expect to pay good money for a good product, but sadly with the Men's Litewave Fastpack II DryVent™ Mid Hiking Boots you end up paying good money for a poor product. They are not worth the money and without being waterproof they nothing more than a an outdoor style trainer with a bit of extra grip.

I paid a lot of money for these WATERPROOF walking boots and they are absolutely rubbish. I literally walked on some grass whilst walking my dog and my socks were soaking wet after. I am going to take this further because if I am being promised something IE “WATERPROOF” footwear, then that’s what I expect to be purchasing!! I am absolutely disgusted with The North Face and Blacks for selling these. You may as well go out wearing flip flops…
