As well as providing a robust structure, the pre-angled pole design also provides porch space to store wet kit. The breathable inner tent section can be used on its own on warm days for a more comfortable place to rest.
Opt for the Phoxx 2 II if you’re a single camper looking for extra room to store kit alongside your sleeping setup.

I keep my poles separate and have the tent on the outside, it’s so perfect and feels very light, 100% recommend it but you need to make sure your guide ropes are tight or it sags
Looks like a solid tent. Have only put it up in the garden thus far. It was easy to put up. Good quality pegs and guide ropes. Plenty of room inside for me and my cycling panniers.
Larger than I expected when folded up but will fit on rear rack fine. Looks like it will protect me from the elements. Fly sheet attached to main body of the tent when opening. Which should prevent the inside of the tent from becoming wet if your unlucky with the weather.
brought this as my first wild camping tent, and it has survived storms, winds, and heavy rain, although on the smaller size its perfect for 1 person plus baggage comfortably
Read the write ups on the tent just what I was looking for wildcamp bike packing . Tried out in garden so far no issues
Used for wild camping while hiking munros. Very quick and easy to construct. Easily withstood wind and rain. I bought this tent because it packs down into a small size and is easy to carry on the top of my backpack.
I owned the phoxx 1 previously and while it's an excellent and robust option there's simply not enough room, the phoxx 2 however is a perfect option for a 1 man with just enough headspace to sit up. Easy to pitch. Handles the uk weather. Looks good
I bought this for my small daughter and myself to go camping for two nights. Whilst extremely cosy (there’s no way you could have two adults in this tent, unless you were both very slim and got on very well! ) and without much room to move around, I can’t actually fault it. It takes about 5 minutes to put up, extremely lightweight to carry and kept the English summer rain off us. Highly recommended for a single backpacker with space for all your gear.
Really can't fault this little tent. It's so well designed and surprisingly spacious. It is big enough for two people, if pretty cosy. But it really comes into its own as a solo tent. Compact and lightweight, just ideal for trekking and wild camping. There's even a lantern hook at the highest point inside. Just little thoughtful design touches that make all the difference. Having the option to have both sides rolled up is great for ventilation on hot nights. Side entry is easier, I find, than entry from the end. Just enough space for me to sit up in. I doubt there's a better trekking tent
Seems a decent enough tent for one person and gear but the stuff sack this comes in is absolutely brutal to get the tent back into. And there are no compression straps on it. I'll be using my vango stuff sack and i should be able to compress this right down. I definitely won't be using the one that comes with the tent.
I bought this as a starter tent for overnight backpacking trips. It's lightweight, pitches easily, waterproofing holds up well (tested in showers), & is pretty spacious in width for 1 person (probs cosy with two!) I liked that the two doors mean you can unzip to sunset or sunrise :) My only complaint would be height - just a couple of extra inches would make a huge difference! I can't sit up completely straight in it (at 5'8') & my workaround (legs outside the tent while sat inside) kept getting my hair caught in the door zipper. Apart from that, brill, so pleased for 1st tent
My all time favourite tent for backpacking and wildcamping. I'm a 6'2, bugger guy and this tent was an absolute gem to be in, enough headroom to move around easy 5-7 min first time pitch, withstood 40mph winds and pouring Dartmoor rain over 3 days no problem what do ever. The only issue I came across was the 3 small holes thay formed on the groundsheet, might be a good idea to use a footprint next time. 9/10 would recommend this tent.
When I bought this tent it said a 2 man. It wasn’t.
But as a 1 man it is incredible. So don’t think it’s a 2 man unless you’re skinny. Apart from that the tent has no flaws so far
Excellent tent, value for money and stands up to harsh condition. Perfect for hiking or bike holidays!
Very easy to pitch well made and easy to enter and exit good ventilation very good value for the price on sale at £85 pounds don’t miss out good deal
Excellent back packing tent for one. I deliberately bought the '2 man' size as these tend to be snug and it proved perfect for the intended job namely solo wild-camping in Scotland. It was light, packs down small, and enough room for me and my rucksack.
