Berghaus Men's Stormcloud Gemini 3 in 1 Jacket

It's a nice jacket. It fits well and keeps you warm and dry.

Good quality but medium size is a slightly tight fit.

Two major flaws - while the jacket is waterproof, there is no protection on the zipped pockets, so when it's raining water runs down the coat into them and pools inside, soaking whatever is in there - like your mobile phone, for example. These are the only pockets on the jacket making it unfit for purpose.
It's also surprisingly short, barely reaching the tops of my thighs which means that any water running off the jacket that doesn't flood the pockets soaks your trousers - overtrousers are essential.
It's a shame as I'm a fan of the brand and it's a decent coat in terms of overall fit, etc.

Bought jacket just before Xmas just washed it accordingly to manufacturers instructions and small hole is appearing and looks faded down both sides zip

What an awful jacket purchased from a awful company with incompetent customer services.
Purchased this jacket in Nov 20 as Xmas present for husband. At first the jacket worked well. Then beginning of Feb, he started to say that the jacket was leaking via the zip and the moisture began to trap inside making mid-layers damp.
On a walk with him it happened, so took photos and complained.
I had to return item back to Blacks at my expense but was told that if found faulty, it would be refunded.
Several weeks later, Blacks admitted fault and refunded jacket but not postage.
7 weeks to get postage!

Cant fault this jacket for keeping me dry in the Scottish winter. Good fit & great performance from Berghaus. Great price from Blacks.

Love this coat as looks great , fits great , really lightweight. I am small and the size small fits me fine. If anything it's a bit thinner than I expected but that's probably personal preference as didn't see before ordering.

I normally only buy North Face and this first Berghaus purchase confirmed I will only do so in the future. Shocking quality! I have returned immediately.

Great quality and a lovely jacket

The jacket is made of poor quality materials. Very unbreathable. It is also a very strange fit. Tight under the arms and a bulging midriff. Rubbish.

This could have been a good jacket, however, a basic design fault means that it is not. None of the zips are protected with storm flaps and as such when the jacket is worn in heavy rain water gets in through the zips. I have ended up with puddles of water in the pockets which means you can't store anything in them in wet weather. I contacted Berghaus to advise them of this issue, however, it appears that they think it is acceptable that your waterproof jacket lets water in which was disappointing....

Everything about purchase process was flawless but the product itself was significantly below par compared to my last Berghaus. No oversold protecting main zip. Loss of inner pockets in the inner fleece. Reduction in useful pockets. Too simple a look for what was a quality product. Now having to look elsewhere for the first time in years. Also lack of retail stores stocking your product made the online experience my only choice.

Perfect and exactly what I needed

I bought it on the strength of its waterproof rating and, after being out in yesterday's very heavy rain, I came home dry. The proof of the pudding is, as they say, in the eating!

The jacket is a well made versatile product, just what I expected
