Worthy winner

A worthy winner of its 2015 award. Spacious, airy, aesthetically pleasing. Easy to erect and take down. Double skin - inner which can be used alone (if you trust the weather!) plus a flysheet. The 'windows' consist of mesh openings in the inner tent with corresponding zips in the flysheet. This means that the windows must remain closed in rain. However, the light within the tent with windows shut is perfectly adequate and the tent is so airy that it's not claustrophobic. A really striking tent on the campsite and great for late Spring/Summer camping. Recommended.

i think i got swayed by the ''award'', wished i though more, i have camped for the last 40 years, i wanted a smaller tent i could stand in, i think this is an excellent festival tent. There is no port for an electric hook up, no rain proof window to have open on rainy days to let in the light, the one door has a see through area shaded by the tent. I'll have to pitch it facing south. The doors zips look average quality and irritatingly are in two sections, the two meet half way up the door, if they went down to the bottom you'd get your hook up through here.in hind site the mesh all the way round will be cold, this is a tent for summer only i think, i go walking in early June , i think i'll be in my coats all week in this tent.my last tent had a sleeping inner which zipped up tight, it does make the difference on colder nights.the award must have been for easy of assembly for it's type, it is easy to assemblegood points , standing room good, very easy to erect, good floor it rises at the sides, water won't get in, two doors for breeze through on a hot day, also you can leave the top zips undone for breeze through on hot days when you're not in.it will not get 8, 6 foot 2 inch people in it for sure.... but i knew that.i bought it for 2 walking in the lakes holiday, it will do, i'm going to make a hole for the hook up to go through.
