This tent survived 72 hours of non stop heavy rain and wind up to 45 mph in Wales last week. We camped at Llyn Gvynth campsite. After first night dozens of posh tents felt down but not our. There was a big puddle under our tent but for 6 days not a drop of water got inside. Highly recommend especially when I paid 254 £.
Easy to pitch. Good internal sized rooms. Lots of pockets to store things. Canopy that pitches with the tent so no add ons and the front internal wall is flat enabling better use of space.
Lost a star because it comes with plastic pegs which are harder to get in the ground so we used our metal ones. If you plan on opening the bedroom up into one and placing a double airbed in the middle be warned that the doors open form the middle not the outer edges. I found that the door had to be unzipped further to get out and zips in the night are a bit disturbing to others.
I use a fishing bed - this is big enough for 2 of these, the sleep pod is lovely and cosy with good airflow. main pod is easy big enough for table and chairs, the windows are lovely, and the insect front screen is great. Tent is easy to put up and take down and the porch a godsend! money well spent!
Tent arrived promptly, looks great, easy to assemble, very spacious. The sleeping pods can fit 2 double air beds (one in each side) and the living area gives us so much space. Easy to take down and the bag it comes in is great too. And RE the nightfall properties-left the light on and cant tell outside the tent, definitely keeps the light out too! Really pleased with this tent, would definitely recommend!
Gave this tent it's first go in coastal north West Wales at the end of September for 2 nights. It held up pretty well in the almost constant high winds, but I will say after a whole night of fairly heavy rain and wind on our 2nd night we did have some minor dripping in the main tent area, however the sleep pods remained totally dry. There was no obvious leakage points so it was just from the heavy rain that it was able to soak through a little bit. We found the tent adequately warm and with good ventilation. Good value tent for casual campers!
