Though an adequate harness for many types of climbing the Bod is ideal for activities with less 'hang time' and more 'leg work' like mountaineering or ski touring. Soft pliable construction gives great ease of movement and the quick release leg loops make this one of the quickest harnesses to get on and off.

I've used one of these for many years. Works fine for everything from wall climbing at the gym to Grade 2/3 scrambling, trad climbing and winter mountaineering. The key feature is that you can get it on and off easily and safely while wearing crampons and big boots (there's no need to step into the leg-loops). I've not had any comfort issues abseiling or hanging around in it on belays, though I rarely/never use hanging belays at my climbing level (up to S/HS).
