Over £100,000 Raised For BBC Children In Need

Blacks Children in Need

We Support Children in Need

We're incredibly proud to announce that we have raised £100,000 for Children in Need. We'd like to send a massive thank you to everyone who got involved. Here's what we did to support this amazing cause:

The Ramble Hat

If you've been out adventuring over the last few months it's likely that you will have seen someone wearing a bright yellow Ramble hat. Produced in aid of Children in Need, this yellow winter-warmer has allowed people to channel their inner Pudsey as they raise money for disadvantaged children from across the UK. For every Pudsey hat we have sold, all proceeds have been donated to BBC Children in Need. Thank you if you bought one! Here are a few famous faces who have gone grizzly for Children In Need! Not going to lie, we're likely going to keep wearing ours through the winter as the cold sets in!

Countryfile Ramble

This year's Countryfile Ramble for Children in Need weekend was a great success. Right across the UK, hikers donned their Ramble hats to step things up for Children in Need. Our Head Office and many of our store teams organised their own rambles throughout October and November and everyone had a great time in the outdoors. We salute all who grabbed their walking boots and waterproofs to ramble for Children in Need. Excellent work!

Pudsey's Pop-Up Café & The Meek Family

The Meek Family are Blacks Ambassadors who got creative this year to do their thing for Children in Need. Taking inspiration from their love of the outdoors, this adventurous family set up their own pop-up café at the popular stop, Kinder Downfall, in the Peak District. Hot drinks awaited walkers who had braved the cold to reach this spectacular waterfall. Fantastic effort guys! Fun, fresh air and fundraising make a great combination!

Children in Need Reaches New Heights!

In November Blacks took to the skies with the incredible aeroSPARX team to do some aerial aerobatics to help get the message out about Children in Need. Watch Rob and Pam as they sore into the cloud line, most importantly with their Ramble hats at the ready!
