Invented by Frenchman Joseph Opinel in 1890, the Opinel knife is used all over the world by outdoor enthusiasts and is renowned for its quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail.
The No. 8 Outdoor Knife is a modern take on an original and now comes with an extreme temperature resistant handle with a built-in whistle that’s available in a selection of colourways.
The Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel blade offers a precise trip with a serrated section close to the handle for versatility. The knife also features a Virobloc® safety ring that securely locks the blade in two positions - in use or folded away for transport.
