I bought this tent to support DofE expeditions at work and it suited my purposes perfectly. It's easy and quick to pitch and strike although after the first expedition, where we camped on hard, dry ground, I did have to invest in some heavier duty pegs.
Staff kit went on a minibus but the packed tent is compact and light enough that I imagine that it would be ideal for hiking.
