The Mammut Brecon III GTX® is a fully waterproof half-height walker's boot with a braced insole, made from full-grained, durable smooth leather.
Designed for easy backpacking or the occasional alpine trek, they are supportive and comfortable enough for all-day wear, with integrated Mammut® Motion-Control which gives great flexibility and strong lateral support.
They have a grippy, cushioning and perfectly rolling Vibram® MT Traction sole, a waterproof GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort Footwear membrane, and cushioning memory foam around the tongue and ankle.

Had these about 6 weeks and done a fair few walks. Six to seven miles a few times. I have been really impressed with them. Comfy right from the start, full waterproof. I am a six and bought a six, they fit well but I’d suggest a thick pair of socks or two pairs. The only place they rub a bit is round the collar, a thick pair of socks helps with this. They look very smart my second pair of mammut shoes and I think you get what you pay for.
