Berghaus Women's Stormcloud Waterproof Overtrousers

This is my second pair of these. The first lasted 5 years and remained waterproof throughout. The waist cord went in the end. They're easy to get on and off even with boots on, they keep the rain off and although they aren't featherweight, they do pack down quite small and are reasonably breathable. Very good value for money.

Great trousers, however far to long - I would need to be 6ft 6” for them to fit.

I bought these because I wanted trousers that were made in different leg lengths. So many trousers don’t offer that option.

It's not made clear in the product description, but the side zip is *not* full-length, despite what some of the reviews claim. It stops about 100mm from the top of the trousers. That makes this product unsuitable for putting on out in the field when you have muddy boots, which was what I was looking for.
Otherwise, the product seems well-made. But if you are looking for a full-length zip, look elsewhere.

Best waterproof trousers - having the full length, two way zipper is fab! You can put them on or off without taking your boots off. If it gets too warm just unzip from the top.
The only tiny negative is that they are long, so do not be tempted to go longer!!
I wouldn’t buy anything else!

Excellent overtrousers, unfortunately berghaus tend to size up on the small side, so they had to be exchanged. Not having a blacks store nearby, I had to exchange them at a nearby millets store, who were most helpful (5 stars for customer service). These trousers were bought during the Black Friday sale online and delivery was via hermes sadly, hermes couldn't be bothered to message me with a delivery day or time, all I received was an acknowledgement that it was in there warehouse awaiting despatch! Not a problem for most people with a home delivery address, however, I live on a narrowboat so I was using my marina address. Good job that I kept checking with the office!

The trousers was great value for money made well but unfortunately the sizing was wrong,they was too small had had to send them back,there was no bigger size

Perfect for the wet weather.

I am only 5 ft 1 and they got perfectly.

They fit well, easy to pull on and off again with the side leg fastenings. Seem to keep me dry. Not been out in very heavy wet weather yet. Would by again when necessary.

I read the reviews and decided to go for a size 10. They are fine over walking trousers and jeans.
I’ve worn them in mizzle but not heavy rain and they are definitely waterproof.

Lightweight and waterproof in heavy rain

Good, adequate waterproofs for a reasonable price, though I did buy mine when they were on offer. Maybe ‘normal’ price is a little high.

Good quality waterproof trouser, with guaranteed waterproof protection (Hydroshell). I always find Berghaus come up small and these were no exception. I ended up getting a size up (10S) which has a 29” leg and still a fairly small 26.38”waist. There’s a drawstring on the waist. The side leg zips come right up to the top of the thigh, which is really useful for removal when wet. Also button up over the zip for extra protection. I would highly recommend.
