Scarpa Men's Cyrus Mid GORE-TEX® Boot

My second pair of these. The first pair have completely fallen to bits and the toe caps have completely come off and now but did not look after them. The second pair have now gone after 6 months and rang Scarpa and they said they wanted to take a look at them. They are the only pair I have and don’t want to send as I use them on a daily basis. Lovely to wear but build design/quality is terrible. Never again.

For a relatively expensive boot I’m very disappointed with the quality. After only 6 months the stitching on the front of both was coming apart. Very disappointing as they are a comfortable boot to wear. Scarpa need to rectify this.

very comfortable walking boots right out of the box but within 5 months both soles were shot to pieces in the ball of the soles, not the edges. The boots began to leak. For 160 GBP i expected more

The most comfortable boot I've ever worn but the stitching around the little toe works free too fast and then they leak like a sieve.
I came on here thinking I was just unlucky but unfortunately I am not the only one to have had this problem.
What a shame but keeping feet dry is probably the most important aspect of a boot.
Do not buy!

very comfortable boot. but, within a year of having them the stitching has broken on both sides of the leather upper near to the little toe. it is clear that this is a common problem. it is difficult to recommend them given this problem and it a shame that such a reputable company as scarpa has not rectified this issue and still continues to sell this product

A very comfy boot that you could wear all day long. But sadly just like so many others are saying, the quality is very poor. Mine only lasted about 9 or 10 months before the stitching around the toe started to disintegrate, and now they are no longer waterproof. I wouldn't buy this brand again.

Haven’t had them very long so not a lot of use so a 4* at the moment- hopefully be able to give 5* soon. Comfortable, good fit. Shop assistant measured my feet so ensured I had the right size.

These are the best boots I’ve ever brought and the worst build quality. I can wear them all day, they are comfy and provide great support.... but after 9 months the stitching around the toes has completely gone and the leak like a sieve

I purchased a pr of these boots 18 months ago after one month they leaked and had to exchange, the replacement pr lasted less than 9 months before stitching came apart and boot seeped water making them unusable. I decided to buy another pr as they are a comfortable boot but alas I am having the same problems again and this time boots are just 6 months old, For such a comfortable boot its a shame I have had continuous issues and will not buy these again.

The shoe is first class, fully waterproof and very breathable but the sole is very soft dont expect to get anymore than 9 months before its done, on my 2nd pair within a year but only because the 2nd pair was on sale for £50. Love scarpa hiking boots, Gtx ranger with vibram soles still going strong after 3years, but cant say same about the shoes.

Bought these a year ago. Such a shame as these boots were very comfortable.... but, after covering modest mileage the stitched seam on the leather upper around the small toe area has completely failed and the boots are no longer of any use. Very disappointed and will not buy this brand again.

I bought these boots in March 2020, just before lockdown, and although they are one of the most comfortable boots I've owned the heels are already worn down and showing another layer. Really disapointing for exspensive boots, especially as my old Hotter boots lasted 5 years!

Bought Dec 2018 - up to a few months ago would have agreed with glowing 5-star reviews about comfort and performance. They've only been used for dog-walking in country lanes - barely any wear visible on the soles. However, a few months ago got odd clicking noise with every step from the flex position in the toes - could also feel it. After about 3 months the noise stopped but now the boots leak, despite the gore-tex, just when walking in short wet grass! If they'd had heavier wear maybe the fault would have shown up before the warranty ran out! Unlikely that I'll buy again.

A nice , light , good fitting , well made boot , - At 14 stone I'm not light but my boots normally last 4 years at my level of walking - I had these 9 months and can now feel the stones as I walk and the soles need replacing ! This is a real shame as the rest of the boot is spot on - they are not cheap and the soles should last :(
