There’s nothing more British than a good drop of rain when you’re exploring the countryside. In honour of this tradition Peter Storm have designed the Lakeside 3in1. With a waterproof outer and an insulating fleece inner. Because bad weather is a part of our culture.
The inner fleece is super warm; the hood keeps falling off with the outer raincoat but it's good. I was surprised at how well both the inner and outer layers attach together and it all fits very well. Delivery didn't take long either so that was good.

Good quality product will be good for rainy weather with the added warmth of the removable fleece lining.
Hi,my border collie and I walk for miles in all weathers. We live in Exmoor, where weather is very unpredictable; sunshine can turn to pelting rain very quickly and I need a jacket and trousers that are 100% waterproof. I am only 5 feet tall, so some trousers will be too long.Waterproof mitts would be useful too. Advice appreciated! Thanks

Hi, thank you for your enquiry. The choice of waterproof jacket really depends on your budget and I would advise trying a variety on to find one you like.
A well specified jacket with an adjustable hood, GORE TEX and high collar to keep the rain out is the Mountain Equipment Women’s Rupal, 285250. RRP £270.
A more traditional - longer length walking jacket is the Berghaus Glissade Jacket, again GORE TEX and with the option to zip in a Berghaus interactive fleece. Item 206958 RRP £225 but currently on offer.
In terms of trousers, the Berghaus Deluge Waterproof Overtrousers feature useful venting side zips. 115130 £60
I hope this helps.

What is the length of this jacket from neck to base? Does the collar fold away into the neck?

Thank you for your question.
The length of the jacket from the top on the neck to the bottom hem is 85cm and yes the hood folds away into the collar. I hope this helps.
