The Rab story began in 1981 in a small attic in Sheffield where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Demand from his close-knit climbing community quickly grew and he moved to a factory in Sheffield where his reputation for building fuss-free, hardwearing kit escalated into the brand we know, love, and can rely on today.
