Measuring tips

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.

Collar: measure around the base of the neck where the collar sits.

Chest: measure the chest at the fullest part, placing the tape close up under the arms.

Waist: measure the natural waistline.

Jacket Length: measure from the centre back of your neck to your hemline. Then length measurement will vary depending on the style.

Stunning jacket, tried a few of Mountain Equipment alpine fit jackets on this is mountain fit and has a bit more room in the body and fits perfectly sleeves a good length for over gloves come the winter. Quality is as to be expected, plenty of pockets to stash stuff away. Breathability is excellent aided by the pit zips. The only slightly picky negative is that the key clip tether is a bit short!

I bought this jacket as it had a little more room than the Lhoste jacket, which was one of my original top choices, it is a very slim fit. After three months use I'm very pleased with it. The four pockets really come in handy as do the pit zips and powder skirt, the latter two both very useful features to keep heat in or venting it out when having the jacket zip up in the pouring rain/foul British weather. Always bone dry inside as you woukd expect from Gortex Pro. I find using the powder skirt allows me to wear one less layer under the jacket.
