So far, so good, water-resistant, stylish. Good if you layer up to suit varying weather conditions. Enough space for suit jacket/jumper to be worn under this jacket. A good buy

Purchase was excellent but I ordered a mans jacket for myself (F) which didn't fit as I expected.

Coat was what I needed and very good price
Tried this out for 25 mins in heavy rain. At first the water beaded but after about 15 mins the beading stopped and the surface of the jacket just looked overall wet. I had put tissue in all pockets as part of my test. The side pockets were fine and the tissue remained dry, but the tissue in the breast pocket was wet and a small pool of water had formed in the bottom of the pocket, the zip was closed tight. The inside of the jacket near my armpits was wet and I think this was the rain and not condensation. This jacket is very comfortable to wear but would not wear risk it on a long wet walk.
