Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Collar: measure around the base of the neck where the collar sits.
Chest: measure the chest at the fullest part, placing the tape close up under the arms.
Waist: measure the natural waistline.
Inside Leg: measure from the crotch to where your trouser is normally worn on the shoe.
Jacket Length: measure from the centre back of your neck to your hemline. Then length measurement will vary depending on the style.

Perfect fit, as recommended by the Customer Care fellows.
I would like to get your help to determine the best measurement of a running jacket.
I want to buy a Gore Wear R3 Partial Windstopper Jacket, but I live in Lisbon, Portugal and we do not have any shops where to try the jacket.
I have to make the purchase online and there is always the risk of not getting the right size.
I am 1.72 m tall, 68 kg in weight. The remaining measures are: chest 96 cm, waist 85 cm and hips 94 cm.
And my doubt results in seeing a Gore Wear promotional video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVwse88OyvA&t=6s), where clearly I would say that my size should be an "M", but when consulting the Gore official size guide chart I think the size "L" is more advisable.
To give you some terms of comparison, I use Salomon Bonatti, Brooks Infiniti IV and Asics Lite-Show Jacket Hooded, all in "M" size. They are not too tight â
From the information you have provided I would say you would need a size medium, we do have the fit finder service on our site and I used this to help come to a decision, you can try this for yourself as well. I hope this helps and happy running.
