As usual, Brasher excellence.

They look good but as I have not worn them yet I cannot comment further. Sadly I had to fill in at least one star to be able to finish this survey.

These shoes are very comfortable and grip well in dry weather, but treacherous on any smooth even slightly damp surface, for example smooth rock and paving , metal manhole covers in pavements etc. They cost more than any boot or shoes I've used , over fifty years of walking. The Vibram rubber specification on the Brasher shoes must have changed as I've before had several Vibram soled boots , with no trouble.
This is not due to wear as they are only just 'worn-in'.

Good quality and service but they didn’t fit a little bit narrow.I used the fit finder on line i must be one of the 30%.

A wee bit on the heavy side but very comfortable and look good

Veery comfortable. Fitted like a glove. No need to break them in.

Tend to be a little loose on the heel in other words for a broad foot as ars some keen walking shoes that you tend to walk out of, after tightening the top of the laces more you can make the situation better.

Strong and solid shoe, the only negative is they're rather weighty

Having owned a pair of Brasher leather walking boots for over 20 years, and enjoyed their comfort and support, I saw these walking/hiking shoes in the Blacks sale, and find them equally comfortable and sure-footed on slippery terrain. I have yet to test their water-resistance and longevity, so cannot award 5* at this early stage.

This light weight cross terrain shoe benefits from being fully waterproof and has protection around the heal cup area with added suede cupping and a light weight rubber rand at the front to help with any bumps and bangs. Extra breathable due to the mixed mesh and suede that gives support , protection but performs well with it being mixed and lets the moisture vapour our . Cushioning from heal to toe with a well balanced mid sole construction that offers support too. Having a strong grip from the Vibram rubber on the out-sole. Perfect for all outdoor conditions.
I wear orthopaedic in-soles which replace the linings in my current NorthFace walking trainer-type shoes. Can I do the same with the Brasher Country Walking shoe?
Hi Roger. Yes you're able to put your own in-soles into these shoes. Thanks.
